Mag Bag XDF

I have owned 3 Vessels - this far surpasses it, and didn't think I'd ever say that. The magnetic plate is AMAZING. I love that there are so many little pockets inside as well. Especially the tee pocket. Well done!

I rarely leave reviews, but this bag is a conversation starter! I’ve gotten loads of compliments, and it’s so handy for recording swings with my phone or attaching my rangefinder.

Used the bag through this whole season. Roughly a half a dozen walking rounds and 10 or so rounds with a cart.

Its okay. I think the mark was missed on a few areas that hold this bag back from being great.

Cons
The design of the club dividers is not efficient. Top most divider where woods putter alignment sticks often go is designed such that the edges curve upward (see product photos). As a result it takes away space from the largest top most pocket adding to the two below that often hold three irons a piece (4-6 & 7-9). The iron pockets do not need to be larger as they often only hold three irons a piece, whereas the top most pocket can never be too large. The design makes it tight for even just a driver, wood, and another long club (hybrid, driving iron, etc), not to mention a putter and some alignment sticks. Likewise with pocket design, there are many little zipper pockets around the bag for misc things, but bonafide storage on the bag is lacking. Mag section is too large taking away quite a bit of size from the large side pocket, tough to fit an extra layer in there, no where close to put a water bottle in this bag or umbrella.

Mediocre
"Vegan leather" quality is ok. It definitely doesn't feel like supple real cowhide to the touch. However, has held up well to use through the season (abrasions from cart, in and out of the truck bed). I have the snow color, and its faired well with regards to discoloration getting dirty. Detachable straps are not a feature I think really sells this bag. I've only detached them once when riding. I dont think shoulder straps really get in the way and found when I detached them it just means I have to re-attach when the round is finished.

Pros
Trap adjustable and distribution of weight across your body is great. Ive spent quite a bit of time with packs of all sorts on my back and this bag does a good job distributing the weight. Straps are easy to adjust and hold that adjustment well. Overall design is attractive and clean to the eye. Mag panel is not a gimmick. It works. Definitely handy for the rangefinder, and some of the other accessories I think would be great. However I havent purchased any and likely wont because I dont think they are fairly priced.
